Herd Wool's Knitting Yarn is our unique wool of traceable 100% Bluefaced Leicester yarn from Lancashire and Yorkshire, spun to a DK weight for your softest hand-knitting projects. Bluefaced Leicester breed sheep are the finest of the British breeds and are native to NW England. Our yarn is made from field to fibre with no toxic inputs or synthetic chemicals so is completely natural and circular. Our core range is five undyed, blended shades from cream to brown (left to right):
