Ingleton Gilet in Ecru & Anthracite Stripe

A thing of great beauty. 

This gilet, lustrously thick and weighty (but not heavy) is to be worn throughout the year over absolutely everything. Doubled-up collar, deep armholes, pockets and great big buttons add to its' cosy and utilitarian and yet casually elegant appeal. 

Detail - The Ingleton Gilet has made from 3 ends of our yarn, and has thick ribbed bordered edges on the hem and cuffs. 

Wool - The Ingleton Gilet is made from our very own fully traceable, super soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England, and then process and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. We then either blend the yarn to make natural shades, or dye using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants. Our buttons are made from nuts and our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular.

Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Hand wash in cool water if needed. 

Size & fit - The Ingleton Gilet is true to size. Models wear a size Small.
