The Gretna Collection is a proportional argyle design, knit using intarsia technique, the raker is overlaid by hand using a chain stitch technique creating a modern, textural piece with a playful heritage nod. Trims are a raised neckline and extended cuffs and hem.
The
Gretna Collection comprises a Jumper, Cardigan, Vest and Scarf.
Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K, our knitwear is born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin.
Detail -
A high neck designed to button up against the chill or wear open. Extended cuffs and hem.
Wool - The
Gretna Cardigan is made from our pedigree Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England and process into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. We blend cream and brown wools to make our natural shades, or dye colours using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants.
Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air, or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.
Size & fit - The
Gretna
Cardigan is true to size. Model wears a size Extra-Small-Small.
Colours - Available in
Peat with Mist, Damson & Jam accents.
