Freckleton Jumper in Patchwork

Unit price per

The Freckleton Collection is a masterclass in the skill of the best of English knitting. A balanced mosaic of colour and whimsical lace stitches in a cardigan and jumper.
These are generous, flattering, folksy pieces inspired by the patchwork of landscape grazed by our flock. Using natural blended, and plant-dyed colours alongside each other, as the sheep roam over fell, heath and dale.
The Freckleton Collection references the heritage craft of patchwork, bringing together ends and scraps to create a mosaic of family memory with a liberated approach to colour and pattern.

Detail - The Freckleton Jumper has a boat neck, slightly batwing sleeves and is fitted to the waist, with a neat cuff and our signature sweetly scalloped edge.

Wool - The Freckleton Jumper is made from our very own traceable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England and processed and make within 150 miles of the farms. We then either blend the yarn to make natural shades, or dye using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants. Our buttons are made from nuts, our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular.

Proudly knitted by skilled craftspeople in England.

Washing - Hand wash in cool water if needed.

Size & fit - The Freckleton Jumper has a neat fit. Models wear a size Medium (12) in Patchwork and Small (8-10) in Ecru.

Colours - Available in Patchwork, Ecru and Moss.
