Herd’s iconic first collection is the Wyre, designed with longevity and the fullness of seasons in mind. Layering pieces to be worn together or apart, in our unique pointelle bud and vine stitch is both light and warm.

This jumper will be your soft, trusty right-hand in the face of everything your day may throw your way and allow you to gracefully glide though it all. So soft, wear next to the skin or over a slip, tuck her into jeans, as a cosy layer under coat and then, come evening, add a flourish to a dress.

Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K, our knitwear is born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin.

Detail - The Wyre Jumper has raglan shoulders, a straight sleeve and scalloped edge on the hem and cuffs.

Wool - The Wyre Jumper is made from Herd Wool - sustainable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool grown N.W. England and processed within 150 miles of the farms according to Fibreshed principles. The yarn is either undyed or dyed using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants. The buttons are made from nuts, our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular.

Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air, or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.
